Charu Asopa (born 27 February 1988) is an Indian television actress and vlogger. She is known for portraying Rajkumari Revati in Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev, most loved Atkhati Pari in Baalveer, Preeti Srivastav Mere Angne Mein, Shravani "Piyali" Purohit in Jiji Maa, and as Mridula in Kaisa Hai Yeh Rishta Anjana.
Charu is often in the news for her compatibility issues with her ex–husband Rajeev Sen, who is the younger brother of First Miss Universe and Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen. The couple often gives interviews against each other.
Charu first got married in Rajasthan to a Marwari businessman. Although she took divorce in November 2016 citing compatibility issues. Then Charu was in a relationship with Neeraj Malviya. They got engaged in Rajasthan. The couple called off the engagement in 2017. In June 2019, she married Sushmita Sen's younger brother Rajeev Sen.
It is Charu's second marriage. Rajeev Sen had blamed Charu publicly for hiding her first marriage in 2022.[6] In July 2022, the couple announced that they had initiated the process for legal termination of marriage.
They called off the divorce in September 2022 and announced the same on their respective Instagram handle. However, again in October 2022, Charu accused Rajeev sen for physical abuse and confessed that marrying Rajeev was her biggest mistake.
