Chase Dillon

Biography

Chase W. Dillon is an American actor born in Lafayette, Louisiana. He began his acting career at a young age and has worked across television and animation, gaining recognition for his performances in several notable productions.

 

Dillon appeared as Ollie in the first season of BET and Paramount Pictures' comedy series First Wives Club. He also portrayed Young Igwe in the anthology series Little America and filmed a recurring role in an HBO Max sketch-comedy project created by Michael Che.

 

His breakthrough came when filmmaker Barry Jenkins cast him as Homer in the Amazon Original limited series The Underground Railroad (2021). The series, based on Colson Whitehead's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, follows Cora Randall as she escapes a Georgia plantation and searches for freedom. Dillon's performance as Homer brought him wider recognition.

 

Dillon was also cast as Hawthorne in the animated series Cedar. Beyond acting, he is a multi-talented performer with interests in piano, singing, dancing, and dirt-bike riding. He has also explored creative activities such as Chinese calligraphy and hieroglyphics.
