Biography

Chinnu Chandni is an Indian actress who primarily works in Malayalam cinema. Born in 1993 in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, she spent much of her childhood in Tanzania before returning to Kerala during her school years. She later pursued higher studies in theatre arts and developed her career in acting.

Early Life and Education

Chinnu developed an interest in acting from a young age and participated in stage performances during her childhood. She has also trained in classical Indian dance, music, martial arts, and other performing arts. Her academic background includes studies in English literature and theatre arts.

Acting Career

Chinnu made her film debut with Anuraga Karikkin Vellam (2016), directed by Khalid Rahman. She subsequently appeared in Cappuccino (2017) before gaining wider recognition with Thamaasha (2019), in which she played the female lead opposite Vinay Forrt.

She continued her career with films such as Bheemante Vazhi (2021), where she portrayed a judo trainer, and Njan Shakespeare. She later appeared in Jackson Bazaar Youth (2023), Kaathal – The Core (2023), Golam (2024), Vishesham (2024) and Thaanara (2024).

Notable Roles

Her performance in Thamaasha brought her particular attention, while Bheemante Vazhi showcased her ability to take on a physically demanding character. In Kaathal – The Core, directed by Jeo Baby and starring Mammootty and Jyothika, she played Advocate Sajitha.

In Vishesham, she portrayed CPO T. R. Sajitha, while Thaanara saw her play Anjali, a socialite and the wife of Shine Tom Chacko's character.
