Chintan Rachchh

Biography

Chintan Rachchh, a well-known Theatre Artist, made his debut as the youngest cast member of Class (2023). Chintan's journey from a small-town boy to a theater artist to dropping out of IIT engineering, to becoming one of the most popular poets on social media has been inspiring for many.

Chintan was born in Rajkot, Gujarat, and completed his schooling at the Genius English Medium School post which secured admission to IIT Karnataka. 

 

Being a hardcore actor at heart, Chintan left his course in Karnataka and shifted to Mumbai to complete his education as well as pursue his passion for Acting. 

 

He completed his engineering from NMIMS, Mumbai in 2022 and was appearing for exams while shooting for Élite's Indian adaptation, Class (2023).

Before making his debut as an actor, Chintan also featured on the kids' special episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati in 2012.

 

Chintan was always interested in dramatics and he started performing in theatre when he was 9 years old. In 2012, while studying, he made his first play 'Three Friends' which was performed at the Rotary Club in Rajkot.

 

Before entering the film industry, Chintan was associated with various theatrical production groups. In 2016, he also worked with renowned theatre artist, Pratik Gandhi.

 

Apart from Theatre plays, Chintan Rachchh also used to participate in writing competitions during his school and college days. In 2018, he won the Article Gure Writing Competition.

Chintan Rachchh has won a Silver Medal at the National Science Olympiad.

 

Chintan Rachchh has also won a Gold Medal in the District Level Swimming Championship.

Chintan Rachchh has won a Gold Medal in the International Mathematics Olympiad.

Was also a part of Kaun Banega Crorepati, Kids Special episode.

 

Chintan Rachchh was a speaker at the India Today Conclave 2023 where he spoke on the topic of Teenage Dystopia and Social Dilemma: A steroid window into teenage alienation and class divide in India.

 

Chintan Rachchh won a Gold Medal at the National Computer Olympiad too.

In 2018, he quit IIT Karnataka and moved to Mumbai to pursue his dream of becoming an actor as well as managed to complete his engineering from NMIMS.

 

Chintan Rachchh has won a Gold Medal at the INSEF - Regional Fair for making a biodegradable eco-friendly packaging material.

 

Chintan Rachchh won the Silver Medal at the Indian National Science and Engineering Fair (INSEF) - 2013 held at Agni College of Technology, Chennai.
