Choi Jin Hee
Biography
Choi Jin-hee, born 9 November 1968, is a South Korean television producer and media executive. She began her career in 2012 as a producer in the drama business division of CJ E&M, where she worked on the development and production of Korean television content.
In May 2016, Choi became the first chief executive officer of Studio Dragon, one of South Korea's major television production companies. She served in the position until July 2020, overseeing the company's growth and involvement in numerous successful drama productions. In 2019, she was ranked 14th on Forbes Korea's list of 65 Powerful Female CEOs and received the CEO Leadership Award at the 2019 Media Management Awards.
After leaving Studio Dragon, Choi became Director of Film and Drama Business at CJ ENM, serving from July 2020 to November 2021. She subsequently founded Imaginus, a content production company, in December 2021 and became its CEO.
Since June 2023, Choi has also served as an Executive Advisor to Myriagon Studio, a subsidiary of Aniplex. Through her work in production and media management, she has played an important role in the development and international expansion of Korean television content.
