Biography
Chris Croucher is an English writer, director, and television producer, born on 1 August 1981 in Guildford, Surrey, England. He studied film production and began his career working in assistant-director roles on productions including Wimbledon (2004), The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (2005), 28 Weeks Later (2007), and Little Dorrit (2008).
Croucher later became a producer on Downton Abbey, working across 18 episodes and receiving two Primetime Emmy nominations. He also produced the period drama The Halcyon (2017).
His Netflix credits include serving as series producer of The Innocents (2018), the supernatural drama created by Simon Duric and Hania Elkington, and White Lines (2020).
Croucher has also written and directed short films, including The Beachcombers, In Passing, and Friend Request Pending.
