Christopher Briney, born March 24, 1998, in Danbury, Connecticut, is an American actor best known for playing Conrad Fisher in the coming-of-age romantic drama series The Summer I Turned Pretty (2022–2025). He also gained recognition for portraying Aaron Samuels in the musical comedy film Mean Girls (2024).
Early Life and Education
Briney grew up in Connecticut and attended Waterbury Arts Magnet School, where he developed an interest in theater. He later moved to New York City to study acting at Pace University, graduating with a BFA in 2020. During his college years, he also wrote and directed short films.
Career
Briney made his feature-film debut in Dalíland (2022), directed by Mary Harron, playing James Linton alongside Ben Kingsley. He was subsequently cast as Conrad Fisher in The Summer I Turned Pretty, based on Jenny Han's bestselling novel trilogy.
As Conrad, Briney became widely recognized for portraying a quiet and emotionally complicated young man caught in a love triangle with Belly Conklin and his younger brother Jeremiah. The series ran for three seasons and became his breakthrough television role.
In 2024, he appeared as Aaron Samuels in the musical film Mean Girls, expanding his career into mainstream film. He later made his Off-Broadway debut in Dilaria in 2025.
