Biography
Connor Swindells was born on 19 September 1996 in Lewes, East Sussex, England. He is an English actor and model who began his acting career in 2015 after being encouraged by friends to audition for a local stage production. He later appeared in television series including Harlots and Jamestown.
Swindells made his feature-film debut in The Vanishing (2018) and also starred in the British drama VS. (2018). His breakthrough came with Netflix's Sex Education (2019–2023), where he played Adam Groff, the troubled son of the school's strict headmaster. The role brought him international recognition.
He later starred as David Stirling in the BBC historical drama SAS: Rogue Heroes and appeared in films including Emma (2020), Barbarians (2021), Barbie (2023), and Scoop (2024).
Swindells has also continued expanding his film career with projects including The Odyssey and Supergirl. His performances have established him as one of Britain's rising actors, particularly through his roles in Sex Education and SAS: Rogue Heroes.
