Corey Reynolds, born on July 3, 1974, in Richmond, Virginia, is an accomplished American actor best known for his roles in television and theater. Growing up in a supportive environment, Reynolds discovered his passion for acting at a young age and was inspired by the world of performing arts. He attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in New York City, where he trained in both acting and musical theater, laying the foundation for his successful entertainment career.

Corey Reynolds’ career began in the late 1990s when he appeared in various theater productions and TV shows. However, his breakthrough came in the early 2000s when he landed a key role in the hit TNT series The Closer (2005-2012), playing Detective David Gabriel. 

The show, which starred Kyra Sedgwick as a tough but empathetic police officer, was widely praised for its strong performances, and Reynolds’ portrayal of Gabriel, a skilled yet sensitive detective, earned him significant attention.
