Christian Balvig
Biography
The 32-year-old Dane, Christian Balvig, is known for his work as a composer and arranger for an array of bands and ensembles. Copenhagen Phil, Det Norske Blåsensemble, Love Shop, Lowly, Dreamers Circus, and When Saints Go Machine to name a few.
His records "Music For Humans", "Associated with Water" and "Night Poem" has, as seen below, been critically acclaimed internationally. Christian is working seamlessly across different genres and mediums and has also been hired as a producer, film scorer, and composer several times.
Other documentary movies, can be mentioned: "A Word For Human" (composer) by Mauricio Ananda-Gonzales, "Human Flow" (composer assistant) by Ai Wei Wei, "Gina - Midt I En Drøm" (composer/musicproducer) by Sofie Lange Jørgensen and "Cry Wolf" (composer) by When Saints Go Machine and Christian Balvig.
In addition, Christian has arranged several of Copenhagen Phil's "60 minutes" with artists such as Lowly, Blaue Blume, and When Saints Go Machine, to name a few.
