Damian Lewis is a British actor and producer, born on February 11, 1971, in St John’s Wood, London. He studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and began his career on the stage, including performances with the Royal Shakespeare Company.
Lewis gained international recognition as Major Richard Winters in the acclaimed miniseries Band of Brothers (2001). He later starred as Nicholas Brody in the thriller series Homeland, a performance that earned him a Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award.
