Biography

Daniel Henney is a Korean-American actor and model known for his charismatic screen presence and versatile performances across both Hollywood and South Korean entertainment industries. Born on November 28, 1979, in Carson City, Michigan, USA, to a Korean mother and an American father, Henney grew up with a multicultural background that later became one of his greatest strengths in his global acting career.

 

 

He began his career as a model, working with several international brands before transitioning to acting. Henney gained widespread recognition in South Korea for his breakout role in the hit television drama My Lovely Sam Soon (2005), where his performance and charm won the hearts of audiences. His success in Korean television led to further roles in series like Spring Waltz (2006) and films such as Seducing Mr. Perfect (2006) and My Father (2007), the latter earning him multiple acting awards.

 

 

In Hollywood, Daniel Henney made his debut with X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009), where he played Agent Zero. He went on to appear in several American productions, including Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders (2016–201,7) and later joined the main cast of Criminal Minds. He also voiced Tadashi Hamada in Disney’s Academy Award-winning animated film Big Hero 6 (2014), further expanding his international appeal.
