Daniel James Roebuck was born on March 4, 1963, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, USA. He developed an interest in acting while growing up and began his professional career in the 1980s.
Career
Roebuck made his film debut in Cavegirl (1985) and gradually established himself as a character actor. He gained wider recognition through appearances in films such as River's Edge (1986), The River (1984), U.S. Marshals (1998), Final Destination (2000), and The Fugitive (1993).
One of his best-known television roles was Detective Marty Cavanaugh on the crime drama Matlock. He later appeared in numerous popular television programs, including Nash Bridges, Lost, NCIS, Supernatural, Criminal Minds, The Man in the High Castle, and Sons of Anarchy.
