Dave Palmer is an American keyboardist and session musician known for his versatility across jazz, rock, and pop music. Born on November 8, 1968, in Denton, Texas, Palmer developed an interest in music at an early age and began studying piano as a child. By his teenage years, he was already performing professionally in jazz and rock venues.
Palmer studied at the University of North Texas, a school recognized for its strong jazz program. After completing his studies, he moved through several music scenes, including Seattle and San Francisco, before establishing himself in Los Angeles as a sought-after session musician.
