David John Bradley (born April 17, 1942) is an English actor widely respected for his extensive work in theatre, film, and television, often recognized for his roles as memorable and sometimes sinister character actors.

Born in York, England, David Bradley initially completed a five-year apprenticeship with an optical instruments maker. However, his interest in amateur dramatics persisted, leading him to move to London in 1966 to train as an actor at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
A veteran of the stage, Bradley joined the Royal Shakespeare Company and later performed at Laurence Olivier's National Theatre Company.
