Biography
Debbie Wiseman OBE (born May 10, 1963, in London, England) is one of Britain’s most distinguished and prolific composers for film, television, and the concert hall. Known for her lyrical and emotionally resonant musical style, she has also established a career as a conductor and a radio/television presenter.
Biography and Education
Wiseman's musical journey began early, and she was educated at the Trinity College of Music Junior Department before continuing her studies in piano and composition at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She is now a visiting professor at the Royal College of Music. Her commitment to music and the film industry has been officially recognized: she was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in 2004 for services to the film industry, and later promoted to Officer of the same Order (OBE) in 2018 for music services.

Wiseman has composed music for over 200 film and television productions, demonstrating remarkable versatility across genres from historical drama to comedy.
