Biography
Deepak Shivdasani An Indian director, and producer, Deepak Shivdasani is noted for his work in Bollywood cinema. Having started his career as an assistant director to Bapu with the 1982 film Bezubaan, he made his directorial debut with Dadagiri (1987), which featured Rati Agnihotri, Rakesh Bedi, Dharmendra, and Govinda in important roles.
Deepak rose to prominence with his second directorial venture Ladaai (1989), which performed well at the box office. His other notable directorial ventures include Baaghi: A Rebel for Love (1990), Pechchaan (1993), Bhai (1997), Yeh Raaste Hain Pyaar Ke (2001), Julie (2004) and Julie 2 (2017), a Hindi thriller film starring Raai Laxmi, Ravi Kishan, and Aditya Srivastava.
Apart from direction, Deepak Shivadasani has also produced films and his maiden production venture was Bhavani Junction (1985) starring Shashi Kapoor, Shatrughan Sinha, Zeena Aman, and Rati Agnihotri. He produced many of his directorial ventures including Baaghi: A Rebel for Love, Bhai, Yeh Raaste Hain Pyaar Ke, and Julie 2.
