Deepu Joseph
Biography
Deepu Joseph is an Indian film editor known primarily for his work in Malayalam cinema. He has edited numerous feature films and is particularly associated with contemporary Malayalam filmmakers, including Lijo Jose Pellissery.
His notable early editing credits include Vegam (2014), followed by Ee.Ma.Yau. (2018) and French Viplavam (2018). His work on Ee.Ma.Yau, directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, contributed to the film's distinctive and tightly paced storytelling.
In 2019, Joseph edited Jallikattu and Thrissur Pooram. He continued his collaboration with Pellissery on films including Churuli (2021), Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam (2023) and Malaikottai Vaaliban (2024).
