Biography
Denise G. Sanchez is an American actress best known for her television work, particularly as Detective Reina Vasquez in the crime drama series Bosch: Legacy (2022–2025). She appeared in all 30 episodes of the series.
Before establishing herself as an actress, Sanchez earned a degree in Broadcast Journalism. She also appeared in numerous national commercials for major brands.
Her television credits include The Good Place, where she played Andie, Criminal Minds as Officer Cabrera, Mayans M.C. as Alicia, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend as a Ranger, General Hospital, and Sorry for Your Loss.
Her most prominent role came in Bosch: Legacy, where she portrayed Reina Vasquez, Maddie Bosch's partner and former training officer. The character became a recurring presence in the first season before becoming part of the main cast in seasons two and three.
Sanchez's performance as Reina Vasquez also received recognition from the Television Academy, with her name appearing on the 2024 and 2025 Primetime Emmy performer ballots for Bosch: Legacy.
