Dinesh Pallath
Biography
Dinesh Pallath is an Indian screenwriter, story writer, and dialogue writer who has worked mainly in the Malayalam film industry, with credits in Tamil cinema as well. He began his writing career in the late 2000s and became associated with several Malayalam films directed by Kannan Thamarakkulam.
Career
Dinesh Pallath made his story-writing debut with the Tamil film Arumaname (2009), directed by Sudheesh Sankar. He subsequently worked on films such as Villali Veeran (2014), Thinkal Muthal Velli Vare (2015), and Aadupuliyattam (2016). His work has included story, screenplay, and dialogue writing.
He developed a notable professional association with director Kannan Thamarakkulam. Their collaborations include Thinkal Muthal Velli Vare, Aadupuliyattam, Chanakyathanthram, Pattabhiraman and Vidhi: The Verdict.
One of his prominent works is Chanakyathanthram (2018), a thriller starring Unni Mukundan, Shivada Nair and Anoop Menon. He also wrote Pattabhiraman (2019), starring Jayaram, which focuses on the fight against food adulteration.
