Dipak Kumar Padhy is an Indian cinematographer known for his visually stunning work in the Tamil film industry. Following in the footsteps of his father, renowned cinematographer Saroj Padhy, Dipak has carved his path, contributing to several critically acclaimed and commercially successful films.   

Early Life and Career

Born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Dipak's interest in filmmaking blossomed while observing his father's work. He pursued formal training in cinematography at the Film and Television Institute of Tamil Nadu.   

His career began as an assistant cinematographer, working alongside experienced professionals like B. Kannan and Priyan. This hands-on experience provided him with invaluable insights into the craft and honed his technical skills.

Dipak made his feature film debut as an independent cinematographer with the Malayalam film "Kaati." Since then, he has consistently delivered visually captivating work, contributing to the success of several notable films, including:
