Dipannita Sharma was born on November 2, 1979, in Dibrugarh and raised in Delhi. Coming from an academic background—her father being a doctor—she grew up with a strong emphasis on education. She attended Indraprastha College for Women, where she pursued history.

 

Her journey into the spotlight began when she participated in the Femina Miss India contest in 1998, where she finished as one of the finalists. This exposure opened doors to the fashion and entertainment industry.
