Biography
Eshwar Niwas, commonly known as E. Niwas, is a prominent Indian film director, producer, and screenwriter. He was born on April 11, 1974, in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, and currently resides in Mumbai, Maharashtra. E. Niwas has made a significant mark in both Bollywood and Tollywood with his distinctive filmmaking style, which includes exploring diverse genres, from intense dramas to family-oriented films.
His most notable achievement came in 1999 when he won the prestigious National Film Award for Best Direction for his film Shool. The film, starring Manoj Bajpayee, is a hard-hitting drama centered around corruption in politics and law enforcement, which was widely appreciated for its gritty portrayal of social issues.
