Einar Haraldsson is an Icelandic actor who transitioned to a career in film and television after a long and diverse professional life in security and law enforcement. He was born in Reykjavik, Iceland, in 1955.

 

 

Early Career and Background

Before embarking on his acting career, Haraldsson had a notable background in public service and security.

 

Police Officer: He was a Police Officer in Iceland from 1974 until 1993, having graduated from the Police Academy in 1976. During this time, he also served as the Secretary General for the International Police Association (IPA) Iceland Section from 1976 to 1982, which involved worldwide travel to meet with colleagues.

 

Security and Bodyguard: Following his time with the police force, he worked as a Security Guard in the U.S. Embassy in Iceland from 1995 to 2013. He also served as a bodyguard for a celebrity, Sandra Bullock, for a period of ten years.

 

 

Acting Career

Haraldsson entered the acting industry later in life, beginning around 2013-2019, after taking acting classes for film and television. His professional experience and imposing build often lead to roles that draw on his background in law enforcement and security. His acting age is listed as 51-70 years.
