Biography

Eiza González Reyna, born on January 30, 1990, in Mexico City, Mexico, is a Mexican actress and singer who has garnered international recognition for her work in both Spanish-language and English-language productions.   

 

 

González began her acting career in Mexico, achieving popularity for her role as Dolores "Lola" Valente in the musical telenovela Lola, érase una vez (2007-2008). She further gained recognition in Latin America for her starring role in the Nickelodeon teen sitcom Sueña conmigo (2010-2011).   

 

 

In pursuit of English-speaking roles, González moved to Los Angeles. Her career in Hollywood began to take off with her role as Santanico Pandemonium in the American horror series From Dusk till Dawn: The Series (2014-2016). This was followed by notable roles in feature films such as Baby Driver (2017), Alita: Battle Angel (2019), Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (2019), Bloodshot (2020), Godzilla vs. Kong (2021), and Ambulance (2022).   

 

 

More recently, she has appeared in the TV series Extrapolations (2023), Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2024), La Máquina (2024), and 3 Body Problem (2024), where she plays Dr. Augustina "Auggie" Salazar. Her upcoming projects include the films Ash and Fountain of Youth, both slated for release in 2025, and In the Grey.   

 

 

As a singer, Eiza González released two studio albums, Contracorriente (2009) and Te Acordarás de Mí (2012), both of which charted in Mexico. She has also contributed to soundtracks for various projects.
