Elise Tielrooy
Biography
Élise Tielrooy is a French actress known for her work in film, television, and theater. She was born on May 7, 1967, in France and has been active as a performer since the early 1990s.
Career
Tielrooy began her acting career in the theater before moving into film and television. One of her early stage appearances was in Suite royale in 1992, and she later performed in productions such as A Streetcar Named Desire.
Her film career includes appearances in La Chambre des officiers (2001), Paparazzi (1998), Serial Lover (1998), Hercule & Sherlock (1996), Sempre vivu! (2007), and Quelqu'un de bien (2002).
Paris Can Wait
One of Tielrooy's international film credits is Eleanor Coppola's Paris Can Wait (2016), in which she played Martine. The film stars Diane Lane, Arnaud Viard, and Alec Baldwin and follows an American woman who unexpectedly travels through France with her husband's associate.
Television Work
Tielrooy has had an extensive television career in France. She became particularly known for playing Ariel in the long-running crime series Research Unit (Section de recherches), appearing in around 40 episodes between 2018 and 2024. She also appeared in Ici tout commence, The Devil Inside, Alice Nevers, and The Judge Is a Woman.
She has continued to work in television, including an appearance as Elise Guerin in Enquête parallèle in 2026.
