Elisha Cuthbert is a Canadian actress, born on November 30, 1982, in Calgary, Alberta. She began her career as a child model and television performer before moving into acting. Her early work included Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Popular Mechanics for Kids, and the film Dancing on the Moon.
Cuthbert gained international recognition as Kim Bauer, the daughter of Jack Bauer, in the action-thriller series 24. She appeared regularly during the show's early seasons and later returned in recurring roles. Her performance earned her two Screen Actors Guild Award nominations as part of the ensemble.
Her film career includes Old School, Love Actually, The Girl Next Door, House of Wax, The Quiet, and Captivity. She later starred as Alex Kerkovich in the comedy series Happy Endings and appeared in The Ranch and the Canadian comedy Jann.
