Elizabeth Debicki is an elite, award-winning Australian actress widely celebrated for her commanding presence on both stage and screen. Standing at 6 feet 3 inches (1.91 metres), she famously integrates her extensive early dance training into her acting philosophy, focusing on meticulous physical detail, deliberate posture, and fluid movement.
Born in Paris to a Polish father and an Australian mother (both professional ballet dancers), Debicki moved to Melbourne at the age of five. She initially trained strictly in ballet, but shifted her focus to theatre when her tall stature made a professional classical dance career impractical. She went on to study drama at the University of Melbourne's Victorian College of the Arts, graduating in 2010.
