Ema Horvath (born January 28, 1994, in the USA) is an American actress who has quickly garnered attention for her versatile performances across film and television. Raised by Slovak parents, Horvath's acting journey began at a young age, leading her to roles in both independent horror films and major fantasy productions.

 

 

Early Life and Education:

Horvath's first experience with acting was at the age of five, making her debut as a tulip in a local theater production. Her dedication to the craft led her to study acting for two years at the prestigious Interlochen Center for the Arts. Uniquely, she then pursued a Bachelor of Arts in English literature from Harvard University, graduating in 2016. While at Harvard, she continued to pursue acting, notably playing the lead character of Katerina in an all-female production of Shakespeare's "The Taming of the Shrew."

 

 

Career Highlights:

After graduating from Harvard, Horvath quickly transitioned into screen acting. Her first screen role was as Shell in the 2017 psychological horror film Like.Share.Follow, produced by Blumhouse Productions. This marked the beginning of her frequent appearances in the horror genre, including:

 

 

  • "The Gallows Act II" (2019): in which she landed a starring role.
  • "The Mortuary Collection" (2019): An anthology horror film.
  • "What Lies Below" (2020): A horror film in which she played a 16-year-old.
