Emily Hampshire is a Canadian actress and producer, born on August 29, 1981, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She began her acting career as a teenager, appearing in Canadian television productions before establishing herself in film and international television.
Hampshire gained early recognition through roles in films such as Snow Day (2000), Blood (2004), It’s a Boy Girl Thing (2006), and The Cradle (2007). She also appeared in the television series Earth: Final Conflict, The Last Don II, and This Space for Rent.
She became widely known for playing Stevie Budd in the acclaimed CBC comedy series Schitt's Creek (2015–2020). Her performance as the sarcastic and loyal motel employee earned her widespread recognition and contributed to the show's international success.
