Biography
Emory Cohen, born 13 March 1990 in New York City, is an American actor known for his work in film and television. He graduated from Elisabeth Irwin High School and received a scholarship to study acting at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
Cohen made his feature-film debut in Afterschool (2008). He gained attention for playing AJ Cross in The Place Beyond the Pines (2012), followed by a recurring role as Leo Houston in the television series Smash.
His breakthrough came with Brooklyn (2015), in which he played Tony Fiorello, the romantic interest of Saoirse Ronan's character. He later portrayed Homer Roberts in Netflix's mystery science-fiction series The OA (2016–2019).
Cohen's other notable credits include War Machine (2017), Lords of Chaos (2018), Killerman (2019), The Bikeriders (2023), Florida Man (2023), Rebel Ridge (2024), Roofman (2025), and Marty Supreme (2025).
