Ewa Aulin
Biography
Ewa Aulin was a Swedish actress best known for her work in Italian and international films during the late 1960s and early 1970s. She was born on February 13, 1950, in Landskrona, Sweden.
Aulin won the Miss Teen Sweden title in 1965 and subsequently became the winner of the first Miss Teen International competition in 1966. She entered the film industry with Don Juan in Sicily (1967) and went on to appear in several Italian films.
Her best-known role was Candy Christian in Candy (1968), directed by Christian Marquand. She starred alongside Marlon Brando, Richard Burton, James Coburn, John Huston, Walter Matthau, and Ringo Starr. The film became a cult
Other notable films in her filmography include Death Laid an Egg (1968), Start the Revolution Without Me (1970), The Double (1971), Death Smiles on a Murderer (1973), and Legend of Blood Castle (1973).
Aulin retired from acting in the 1970s, later studied at university, and became a schoolteacher. She made one later screen appearance in Stella's Favor (1996).
