Fahadh Faasil
Biography
Fahadh Faasil, son of popular Malayalam director A. M. Fazil, began his career as an actor and eventually ventured into producing movies as well. Making his debut at the age of 19, Fahadh starred in his father`s film Kaiyethum Doorath (2002), only to see the film fail at the box office.
The young actor then took a break to pursue his studies and only returned to the film industry in 2009 starring in the anthology movie Kerala Cafe. The actor has since then appeared in several successful movies such as 22 Female Kottayam (2012), Annayum Rasoolum (2012), Bangalore Days (2014), and Maheshinte Prathikaaram (2016).
A few of Fahadh`s prominent roles have come with the movies Chaappa Kurishu (2011), Akam (2013), Artist (2013), North 24 Kaatham (2013), and Role Models (2017). His 2018 acting credits include Carbon, Varathan, and Njan Prakashan. After a string of box office success, his next venture includes the romantic-thriller movie Athiran (2019), which was later dubbed in Telugu as Anukoni Athidhi (2021).
His other releases include Super Deluxe (2019), Trance (2020), and C U Soon (2020). In 2021, he appeared in movies like Irul, Joji and Malik. His other notable works include Pushpa: The Rise (2021), Vikram (2022), Malayankunju (2022), Maamannan (2022) and Paachuvum Albhuthavilakkum (2022). He then featured in Pushpa 2: The Rule (2023) and Paattu (2023).
