Farrukh Abid
Biography
Farrukh Abid is a renowned music composer. He is indeed a musical genius. He has made a significant contribution to Pakistani media. His original soundtracks for Pakistani dramas are, till now, the soul of these dramas.
He started his journey as a musician in 1970. He started working with famous musicians and used to play guitar in their compositions. After a struggle of around 16 years, he began as a music composer in 1986 in Karachi.
After gaining such exposure, he made approximately 30,000 to 40,000 jingles for various advertising agencies. In 1990, he started his small music studio in Karachi.
He was the one to compose a maximum number of original soundtracks for various Pakistani dramas. Then he shifted to Canada. He worked with many great singers like Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.
He is good at judging the range of various singers and then making compositions accordingly. He has a great passion for music and devoted his entire life to it.
Farrukh Abid is known for Choti Si Kahani (2011), Meri Zaat Zarrae Benishan (2009), and Ariel Mothers aka Ariel Maa (2012).
