Biography
Frank Villard (March 24, 1917 – September 19, 1980) was a French actor known for his work in French and international cinema.
Born in Saint-Jean-d'Angély, Charente-Maritime, France, Villard developed a career in film during the 1940s and continued working across several decades. He appeared in both French productions and major international films.
His notable credits include L'ennemi sans visage (1946), Gigi (1949), and Apocalypse Now (1979). In Apocalypse Now, directed by Francis Ford Coppola, he played a member of the French plantation community encountered by Captain Willard during his journey through Vietnam.
Villard remained active in cinema throughout his career and became known for his appearances in both dramatic and international productions.
He died on September 19, 1980, in Geneva, Switzerland, at the age of 63.
