G. Ashok
Biography
G. Ashok was born in Tenali, Andhra Pradesh. He began his artistic journey as a child actor, featuring in over 15 films during his youth. A trained classical dancer proficient in 13 Indian classical dance forms, he later transitioned into choreography in 1997, working on more than 300 songs in Telugu cinema. His dance mentors included renowned artists such as D.K.S. Babu, Swarnalatha, and Raju Sundaram.
Directorial Debut and Rise
Ashok made his directorial debut with Ushodayam (2007), a children’s film that won him the Nandi Award for Best Children’s Film Director. He gained wider recognition with Pilla Zamindar (2011), a family entertainer starring Nani, which marked a turning point in his career.

Personal Life
Ashok married Vijaya in 2009, and the couple has three children.
