Gen Kobayashi is a Japanese cinematographer known for his work in film and television. He has built an extensive career in cinematography, working across feature films, television dramas, and action productions.
His notable credits include Climbers High (2008), Kamen Rider × Super Sentai × Space Sheriff: Super Hero Taisen Z (2013), and Satria Heroes: Revenge of the Darkness (2017). He also served as cinematographer on films such as Piece: Kioku no Kakera (2012), Kikaider: The Ultimate Human Robot (2014), The Snow White Murder Case (2014), Scoop! (2016), and According to Our Butler (2019).
Kobayashi's cinematography on Super Hero Taisen Z helped visually bring together characters from the Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, and Space Sheriff franchises in the large-scale tokusatsu crossover.
