Gerald Cooper
Biography
Gerald Cooper is a British farmhand and dry-stone wall specialist best known for his appearances on the documentary series Clarkson's Farm. He has worked at Diddly Squat Farm for many years and became one of the show's most recognizable personalities.
Cooper specializes in maintaining the farm's traditional stone walls and fences. He also has extensive experience with agricultural machinery and harvesting, having worked in the field for more than five decades. On Clarkson's Farm, he is credited as “Self – Head of Security” and has appeared in numerous episodes since the series began in 2021.
Gerald became particularly popular because of his strong West Country accent, which frequently leaves Jeremy Clarkson struggling to understand him. Their humorous conversations and Gerald's relaxed, straightforward personality have become a recurring feature of the series.
Although he shares the surname Cooper with fellow cast member Kaleb Cooper, the two are not related. Gerald has nevertheless become an important member of the Diddly Squat Farm team, contributing his practical farming knowledge and skills to the operation.
