Giordana Faggiano
Biography
Giordana Faggiano was born in Puglia, in Bari (where she remained until the age of four), on August 23, 1995. She later lived in Livorno, La Spezia, and Genoa, where she attended an acting school as a child. She shot her first film under the direction of Peter Greenaway, and her first TV series when she was only eleven.
After graduating, she entered the Acting School of the Teatro Stabile di Genova, where she graduated in 2017. She immediately began working with one of the most prestigious Italian theatre directors, Valerio Binasco (to date she has taken part in twelve of his shows), gradually gaining more and more important roles, until she became the protagonist of his plays. Nominee for prestigious awards, she recently won the Ivo Chiesa prize for 'Futuro della scena'.
She continued to alternate her theatrical career with cinema and television, taking part in films such as "State a Casa" by Roan Johnson, in which she played one of the main roles, "La stranezza" by Roberto Andò with Toni Servillo, "Io sono l'abisso" by Donato Carrisi and TV series such as "Noi" (Italian version of "This is us") directed by Luca Ribuoli and "Le avventure di Carlo Monterossi 2" directed by Roan Johnson, currently in production.
