In 2012, he produced the movies London, Paris, and New York. This would be Goldie`s first commercial hit. A romantic comedy written and directed by Anu Menon, it had Ali Zafar and Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead.

After the failure of his first movie, he made a comeback as a director only after a gap of seven years with the fantasy adventure hero film Drona, released in 2008. The film that incorporated a lot of visual effects had Abhishek Bachchan playing the titular role.
