Gopi Puthran
Biography
Gopi Puthran started his career as a writer in the Bollywood film industry with Lafangey Parindey starring Neil Nitin Mukesh and Deepika Padukone. The Bollywood drama was directed by Pradeep Sarkar and the storyline was written by Gopi Puthran.
The writer and director also wrote the daredevil cop story Mardaani in addition to being part of the movie as an assistant director. Mardaani was directed by Pradeep Sarkar while Gopi took over the directorial duties for the sequel Mardaani 2 released in 2019.
