Biography

Gowrie Pandit, also known as Gauri Pandit, is an Indian model and actress who primarily works in Telugu cinema. Born in New Delhi in 1982, she completed her schooling at Springdales, Dhaula Kuan, and graduated from the Institute of Integrated Learning in Management, New Delhi. From a young age, Pandit aspired to be an actress and actively pursued this dream.

Early Career in Modeling:

Before venturing into acting, Gowrie Pandit established herself as a successful model. She appeared in numerous television commercials for prominent brands, with one of her most notable campaigns being for Hero Honda alongside actor Barun Sobti. Her modeling career also took her to international platforms, as she secured prestigious assignments in Paris and Tokyo.

Entry into Acting:

Gowrie Pandit made her acting debut in 2005 with the Telugu film Andhrudu, where she starred opposite Gopichand. The film was a significant commercial success, providing a strong launchpad for her career in the South Indian film industry. Although she initially aimed for a career in Bollywood, her success in Telugu cinema led her to focus primarily on regional films.

In these films, she portrayed a variety of roles, showcasing her acting skills in different genres, including action, comedy, and drama.   

Personal Life:

In 2011, Gowrie Pandit married actor Nikhil Dwivedi, who later transitioned into film production, backing Hindi films like Veere Di Wedding and Dabangg 3. The couple has a son named Shivaan.   

Although her acting career spanned a relatively short period, Gowrie Pandit made a mark in Telugu cinema with her early success and performances in several notable films.
