Gracy Singh
Biography
Gracy Singh is an Indian actress who shot to fame for playing Gauri in the 2001 blockbuster hit Lagaan: Once Upon a Time in India. A trained Bharatnatyam dancer, she played a village girl and also Aamir Khan’s love interest in the movie. She has acted in most of the Indian film industries.
Her debut role was a minor one in the movie Sar Utha Ke Jiyo (1998). From there she went on to do movies like Hu Tu Tu (1999), Santosham (2002), Armaan (2003), Gangaajal (2003), Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. (2003), and Loudspeaker (2009). Over the years she has appeared in a handful of movies in various languages but barely anything to write home about.
She is a part of director Suman Ganguli’s Blue Mountains (2017). The movie cast also includes Ranvir Shorey, Gracy Singh, Rajpal Yadav, Arif Zakaria, Simran Sharma, Yatharth Ratnum, and Mahesh Thakur.
