Biography
Greg DePaul is an American screenwriter, playwright, and educator known for his sharp wit, engaging storytelling, and contributions to modern romantic comedy films. His work reflects a strong sense of humor, character-driven narratives, and an insightful look at human relationships.
DePaul began his career as a comedy writer and performer, honing his craft through sketch and improv before transitioning into screenwriting. His early collaborations led to several successful Hollywood projects, most notably the hit romantic comedies Saving Silverman (2001) and Bride Wars (2009).
Saving Silverman, starring Jason Biggs and Jack Black, became a cult favorite for its quirky humor and offbeat take on friendship and love. Bride Wars, co-written by DePaul, was a major box-office success and starred Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson.
