Gub Neal is an Emmy Award-winning British television producer and executive known for championing critically acclaimed and commercially successful drama. Career & Leadership Roles

Neal began his professional life on the fringes of British theatre, including organizing street performances for the London International Festival of Theatre in the 1980s. He later transitioned to television, starting at the BBC as an assistant floor manager and script editor.

He swiftly gained a reputation for his production skills, leading to senior executive positions at major broadcasters:

 

Controller of Drama at Granada TV (starting 1995).

Head of Drama at Channel 4 (starting 1997).
