Biography
Gurdeep Brar is a multifaceted personality, excelling as an actress, model, and writer. Born and raised in Calgary, Canada, to immigrant parents from Takhtupura village in Moga District, Punjab, India, Brar made a significant mark in the world of beauty pageants. She was the 1st runner-up in Miss India Canada in 1996 and went on to become Miss Calgary in 2001, making history as one of the first visible minorities to achieve this title.
Her success continued as she became the 1st runner-up in Miss Canada and was crowned Top Model Canada in 2002. Brar represented Canada at the Top Models of the World competition in Germany in the same year, further cementing her place in the modeling world.
Beyond her modeling career, Brar is an accomplished entrepreneur, having run her own local entertainment company. She spent over 15 years working in television and radio, gaining valuable experience in the entertainment industry.
In addition to her professional career, Gurdeep Brar is a motivational speaker and life coach, helping others achieve personal and professional growth. A proud mother, she even wrote her book while pregnant with her second child, showcasing her dedication and perseverance.
In her acting career, Gurdeep Brar made her debut in the Punjabi film Saak (2019), where she played the role of Shaam Kaur.
