Han Ji Hye

Biography

Han Ji-hye, born Lee Ji-hye on June 29, 1984, in Gwangju, South Korea, is a South Korean actress and model. She studied Film Arts at Sejong University and began her entertainment career after participating in the 2001 Korea Supermodel Contest.

She made her television acting debut in Scent of Summer (2003) and quickly gained recognition with dramas such as Little Bride (2004), Likable or Not (2007–2008), and East of Eden (2008). Her performance in East of Eden demonstrated her ability to take on more mature and emotionally demanding roles.

Han made her film debut with Saving My Hubby (2002) and later appeared in Singles (2003), My Boyfriend Is Type-B (2005), Humming (2008), and Blades of Blood (2010).

Her later television work includes May Queen (2012), I Summon You, Gold! (2013), The Legendary Witch (2014–2015), Marry Me Now? (2018), and Golden Garden (2019). She received major recognition for I Summon You, Gold! and Marry Me Now?, winning acting awards at the MBC and KBS Drama Awards, respectively.

In Han River Police (2023), Han Ji-hye played Eun-sook, appearing in the Disney+ action-comedy alongside Kwon Sang-woo, Kim Hee-won, Lee Sang-yi, Bae Da-bin, and Shin Hyun-seung.

Her more recent credits include Buried Hearts (2025), Don't Call Me Ma'am (2025), and To My Beloved Thief (2026).

With a career spanning more than two decades, Han Ji-hye has established herself as a versatile performer whose work covers romance, family drama, historical stories, comedy, action, and melodrama.
