Biography

Hannah Marcina Bronfman (born October 26, 1987) is an American heiress, angel investor, entrepreneur, and social media influencer. She is known for her ventures in health, wellness, and technology, as well as her work in fashion and media.

Early Life and Education

Hannah Bronfman was born in New York City to African American actress Sherri Brewer and Edgar Bronfman Jr., heir to the Bronfman family—one of the wealthiest and most influential Jewish families in Canada. She is the granddaughter of Edgar Miles Bronfman, former owner of Distillers Corporation-Seagrams Ltd., the world’s largest producer and distributor of distilled spirits.

Through her paternal grandmother, Ann Loeb Bronfman, Hannah is also a member of the prominent Lehman family of Jewish Americans, founders of the investment bank Lehman Brothers.

She graduated from Bard College in December 2010 with a degree in sculpture, reflecting her early interest in the arts and creative pursuits.

Career

Hannah Bronfman has pursued a multi-faceted career, blending entrepreneurship, wellness, and media:

Entrepreneurship: At 20, she invested in the New York City restaurant Hotel Griffou. She co-founded Green Owl, an ecologically oriented multimedia company, with her older brother Benjamin Bronfman.

Technology Ventures: In 2012, she co-founded Beautified, a mobile app for booking last-minute beauty services, which expanded to Los Angeles and San Francisco and raised $1.2 million in seed funding. Bronfman was later ousted from the company, and the app became defunct in 2018.

Fashion and Media: She was featured in the 2013 fashion documentary This is My Reality and walked her first runway for DKNY’s Fall 2014 Fashion Show.

Health and Wellness: Hannah published the book Do What Feels Good and ran an associated website for three years, promoting wellness, lifestyle, and self-care.

Personal Life

Hannah Bronfman became engaged to Brendan Fallis on August 17, 2015. The couple married in Marrakesh, Morocco, on May 20, 2017, and reside in Amagansett, New York, and Manhattan. They have two children: a son born in 2020 and a daughter born in 2023.
