Harish Verma
Biography
After being a part of over 70 plays and appearing in over 2500 repeat performances, Harish moved to Mumbai from Punjab, bagging one of the pivotal roles in Colors TV`s daily soap Naa Aana Iss Des Laado.
Having trained under the mentorship of the veteran Punjabi thespian S. Gursharan Singh, Harish managed to portray almost every shade of any given character. He then went on to make his movie debut in 2010 with the Punjabi movie Punjaban in which he was seen playing the lead antagonist.
His performance in the movie won him the Best Actor in a Negative Role nomination at the PTC Punjabi Film Awards in its very first award function in 2011. For his next, Yaar Annmulle, Harish won the Best Actor-Critic Award at the 2012 PTC Punjabi Film Award.
Some of his other movies include Daddy Cool Munde Fool, Happy Go Lucky, Proper Patola, What The Jatt, and Krazzy Tabbar. His 2018 release includes Helicopter Eela, directed by Pradeep Sarkar. His 2019 releases include Nadhoo Khan and Laiye Je Yaarian.
