Idhika Paul (born Tumpa Paul on 2 July 1998) is an Indian actress prominent in Bengali-language television and films. She primarily works in the Tollywood film industry, with occasional ventures into Dhallywood. Known for her versatile performances, Idhika has quickly risen as one of the leading actresses in Bengali cinema.

 

 

Biography

Born in India, Idhika Paul developed an early interest in acting and the performing arts. Her dedication and screen presence helped her transition from television to films, where she has garnered both popular and critical acclaim.

 

 

Career

Idhika officially began her acting career in 2019 with a small role in Arabbya Rajani. She made her TV lead debut in 2021 with the series Rimli, followed by a supporting role in the 2022 TV series Pilu.

 

Her breakthrough in films came in 2023 with the Bangladeshi romantic tragedy Priyotoma, where she played the female lead opposite Shakib Khan. The film became the highest-grossing Bangladeshi release of 2023 and the third highest-grossing Bangladeshi film of all time.

 

In 2024, Idhika made her Tollywood debut with Khadaan, starring Dev. The film became the highest-grossing Bengali film of 2024 and the second-highest-grossing Bengali film ever. The song "Kishori" from the movie gained massive popularity, earning her the nickname "Kishori" among fans. Her performance received widespread praise for its energy and charm.

 

 

In 2025, she returned to Dhallywood with the romantic-action film Borbaad, which became the highest-grossing Bangladeshi film of the year and all time. Following that, she reunited with Dev for the period action thriller Raghu Dakat, released during Durga Puja 2025.
